Global Impact
Touch your Jesus' name!
Sponsor a Child in Jesus Name with Compassion
Jesus instructed the Church in Acts 1:8 that we ought to make a global impact on the world around us.
Here are ways that our church touches the world with God's love and compassion.

Compassion International: Our church sponsors two global children through Compassion
International: Bernard and Belka.  Our monthly sponsorship helps provide an education, faith
instruction, medical assistance and more.

Scotland CROP Hunger Walk: Our church joins the other churches in our community in raising
funds for local and global hunger relief.  The CROP Hunger Walk is held on World Communion
Sunday, the first Sunday in October.  Seventy-five percent of the funds raised in the CROP Walk  is
used by Church World Service to fight global hunger in 80 countries worldwide. The remaining 25% is
used by the Bon Homme County Food Pantry to fight local hunger.   Get more information, sign up to
walk and make a donation online:
Lion of Judah Academy:  Our church sponsors
the Simba wa Yuda Academy (Lion of Judah
Academy), an English language Christian school for
underprivileged childern located in Tanzania, Africa.
The school focuses its work especially with AIDS
orphans and the children of poor Tanzanian pastors.
